Avara Basic is a complete alarm package for motorhomes and caravans.
The package has all the functions you would expect for a safe trip, overnight, parking and storage. Smart functions and sensors work together to "understand" what is happening, ensuring greater security and far fewer false alarms than other alarm systems.
The night alarm is automatically switched off when it detects with the help of all the detectors that you are on your way out and that there is no question of a burglary. If you start driving and have forgotten to turn off the night alarm, it automatically shuts off.
The most important functions of the system – smoke alarm, CO and propane gas detector are always switched on and cannot be switched off . If you want extra protection at night, switch on the night alarm by pressing the lid on the main unit. An internal warning is then activated if external movement is detected and/or one of the intrusion detectors is triggered. The external motion detectors automatically turn on an outdoor light, but do not give an internal warning until it has been confirmed that there is activity next to the wall. People passing by will therefore not trigger an alarm. If the alarm is triggered by cooking or the like, you can "silence" the alarm by pressing the lid of the main unit, which then goes into a 10-minute break.
The burglar alarm is switched on using a key tag. Alarms can be triggered by the burglar detectors or by the internal motion detector on the main unit. The external siren gives a strong warning.
When the motorhome or caravan is unoccupied or in storage, the system enters power save mode. The propane gas detector can therefore be connected directly to the living room battery without the risk of the battery being emptied. All the other devices run on their own batteries for approx. 5 years.
The system monitors that all detectors work and have fresh batteries. If a detector falls out or receives a low battery, the main unit informs.
If you are technically skilled, you can install Avara Basic yourself. If you are unsure, we recommend that you ask your dealer to install the alarm.
Later upgrade
If you later wish to upgrade to Avara Basic Plus, this can be done by acquiring an optional modem. If you want to upgrade to Avara Premium, this can be done by adding Avara Moist.
Main control unit used for operation of the alarm inside the motorhome/caravan. Includes an IR motion detector, CO detector and optical smoke detector as well as a moisture and a temperature gauge. The combination of a CO detector and a smoke detector increases your safety. The CO detector and smoke detector are not turned off when the alarm is deactivated, but is always on for increased safety. The main unit should be placed above the living room door in your motorhome/caravan.

The siren controller is the control unit of the external siren that is triggered in the event of a break-in. It also contains the power for the siren (battery pack) and does not need connection to an external power source. The siren controller should be mounted hidden, together with the siren, preferably in the engine compartment of a motorhome or hidden elsewhere in caravans.
