Here you will find an overview of all components in the Avara alarm system. Components can be ordered as additions or replacements for components supplied in the alarm packages. It is important to remember that you always start with a complete package, and possibly expand from it.
Contact us at Avara if you have any questions about expansions and the use of individual components!
Main control unit used for operation of the alarm inside the motorhome/caravan. Includes an IR motion detector, CO detector and optical smoke detector as well as a moisture and a temperature gauge. The combination of a CO detector and a smoke detector increases your safety. The CO detector and smoke detector are not turned off when the alarm is deactivated, but is always on for increased safety. The main unit should be placed above the living room door in your motorhome/caravan.

12 sensors are included in the Avara Moist package, and more sensors can be added if needed. The location is determined by your dealer who has experience with your motorhome/caravan and where/how it is exposed to moisture and where water/moisture accumulates. The starting points are the places where a manual moisture measurement is normally carried out. The sensors have an internal battery with a life expectancy of over 15 years.

The siren controller is the control unit of the external siren that is triggered in the event of a break-in. It also contains the power for the siren (battery pack) and does not need connection to an external power source. The siren controller should be mounted hidden, together with the siren, preferably in the engine compartment of a motorhome or hidden elsewhere in caravans.

Avara's universal gas detector reacts to a number of different gases, including what is often called "narcotic gas".
We have made it "smart" so that it is only active when the Smart Night alarm is activated. This reduces false alarms from normal fumes/gases that may be present in a motorhome/caravan. The detector is connected to a constant 12V power source and placed high on the wall inside the motorhome/caravan. The alarm is notified to the Avara main unit.
