Avara Basic Plus is a connected (online) alarm based on Avara Basic. The alarm gives you a number of benefits beyond what you find in Avara Basic. The modem included in this package allows you to communicate with the alarm system via your mobile phone. You can configure who should receive alarms, so that family or neighbors are also notified.
With Avara Basic Plus, you can monitor indoor climate in your motorhome or caravan. You get an overview of the temperature inside the unit and the humidity. In addition, you can see the voltage on the living area battery.
There is a GPS receiver in the modem. This allows you to display the position of your motorhome/caravan on a map. This location can be shared with family and friends and used for tracking in the event of theft.
If you are technically skilled, you can install avara basic plus yourself. If you are unsure, we recommend that you ask your dealer to install the alarm.
Avara Basic Plus belongs to a subscription that provides access to "My Account" at Avara. When the subscription is activated, it opens for communication between the modem and Avara's cloud solution.
From "My Page" you can operate your Avara alarm online, view alarm history, locate your motorhome/caravan, share your location with friends and family and more. Here you also control your privacy settings and have full control over your own data.
Avara's cloud solution will be further developed with new features in the future. Among other things, you can now install the mouse detector Avara Mouse and the temperature sensors Avara Temp as an addition to your Avara Basic Plus alarm.
Later upgrade
If you later want to upgrade to Avara Premium, this can be done by purchasing optional moisture sensors. You can also expand Avara Basic Plus with more detectors if you wish (often in garages and hatches where you want increased security).

Exterior detectors alert you to unwanted guests outside in Night Alarm mode. The detectors are mounted high up on the exterior wall on each side of the motorhome/caravan so that they cover all doors.
The detectors contain a motion detector that detects movement within approx. 1 - 1.5 meters from the wall and approx. 3 meters to each side. LED light turns on in the event of movement. Two exterior detectors are included in the basic package, and more can be ordered if required, for example for long cars/vehicles.
When Smart Night Alarm or Intruder Alarm is activated, one LED on each detector flashes to show that this vehicle has an active alarm.
The detector can also be used to monitor bicycle racks (night alarm). The detectors have an internal battery with a long life expectancy.

The propane gas detector is connected to a constant 12V power supply and is mounted down by the floor (5-15 cm above the floor). The detector is not switched off when the alarm is deactivated, but is always on for increased security.
A smart function provides a delay of 1 minute before an alarm is sent when gas is detected. This ensures that the accidental, brief and harmless presence of gas does not create unnecessary alarm situations.
The device has a power saving mode that ensures that the battery is not drained when the motorhome/caravan is not in use. You can also connect a backup battery if you remove the main battery during storage.
The detector does not work alone, but must be paired with the Avara main unit in order to sound an alarm.
