The Avara Lite is designed specifically for campers on a permanent site. It has the mandatory features of a smoke detector , a CO detector , and a propane gas detector that never turns off. In addition, it is also a full-fledged burglar alarm where the motion detector in the main unit provides notification in the event of a break-in and the G-sensor provides notification if the caravan is moved. The alarm package contains a modem instead of a siren. It is more effective to receive a notification via SMS than a siren that no one hears at a winter-closed campsite. Of course, the siren can be retrofitted if desired.
A unique feature of this (and the other Avara alarm packages) is that it does not require either 12V or 230V to function. It runs for years on the backup battery. This is therefore the only alarm on the market that is fully operational in locations where there is no access to electricity.
Avara Lite is also very easy to install yourself.
Avara Lite uses a modem that has a SIM card. This therefore requires a very reasonable subscription. You then get access to "My Page" at Avara, which is a website that works like an app. From here you can see the indoor climate, turn the alarm on/off, etc.
Development
Avara Lite can be expanded with all the other detectors and accessories in the Avara range. For permanent residents, the Mouse Detector is highly relevant.

The alarm's main control panel and is used to operate the alarm/night alarm inside the motorhome/caravan. Contains motion detector (PIR), CO detector and smoke detector, humidity and temperature sensor in addition to G-shock sensor. The combination of CO detector and smoke detector increases safety for early detection of fire. The CO detector and smoke detector are alwaysonand are not switched off when the alarm is deactivated. The main unit is placed above the living room door in your motorhome/caravan.

The propane gas detector is connected to a constant 12V power supply and is mounted down by the floor (5-15 cm above the floor). The detector is not switched off when the alarm is deactivated, but is always on for increased security.
A smart function provides a delay of 1 minute before an alarm is sent when gas is detected. This ensures that the accidental, brief and harmless presence of gas does not create unnecessary alarm situations.
The device has a power saving mode that ensures that the battery is not drained when the motorhome/caravan is not in use. You can also connect a backup battery if you remove the main battery during storage.
The detector does not work alone, but must be paired with the Avara main unit in order to sound an alarm.

The modem communicates with Avara's cloud solution. Alarm messages and notifications are sent to wherever the owner of the system chooses. The modem also contains a GPS unit for tracking/locating the motorhome/caravan.
The device has a power saving mode that ensures that the battery does not discharge when the motorhome/caravan is not in use. You can also connect your own battery backup in case you remove the main battery during storage.
