Avara Moist is a patented fully automatic moisture monitoring that continuously checks if there is a leak in your motorhome or caravan.
Early warning of leaks means that repairs can be carried out quickly and cost-effectively.
The small moisture sensors are installed around the building where moisture would normally be measured during a manual inspection. The sensors send data once a day. You can install as many sensors as you want. The basic package contains 12 sensors - enough for a small to medium-sized motorhome or caravan.
Revolutionary patented solution!
The technical solution chosen for Avara Moist is new and groundbreaking, and the system is patented. The sensor has a probe that is inserted into the construction where there may be a risk of moisture and leaks. Air is channeled through the probe and into the moisture sensor element. The sensor seals the installation site so that air from the living area of the motorhome/caravan does not affect the measurements. This ensures the best possible results for moisture measurements and means that any leaks are detected earlier and with better precision than has been the case until now.
Also works in wood-free constructions
When installing in non-wooden structures (e.g. fiberglass and aluminum), one should be aware that water is distributed differently in such structures than in wooden structures where the water is absorbed where the leak is. This can lead to results that are more difficult to interpret and will not always give clear indications of where the leak originates.
To ensure that the moisture sensors are installed correctly and in the right places, installation of Avara Moist must be carried out by your dealer.

If you install Avara Moist, you get a 10% discount on your entire motorhome or caravan insurance with Tryg! The system must be installed by an authorized dealer and it does not (yet..) replace annual moisture checks at your dealer if you still have a valid moisture warranty.
The subscription that is part of Avara Moist means that measurement data from your moisture sensors is sent to Avara's cloud solution. Here the data and trends in the moisture state of your motorhome or caravan are analyzed. When it is assessed that there is a risk of leakage, you will be notified via SMS/e-mail. You can log in to Avara's "MIn Side" at any time and get the latest moisture report. Once a year you will automatically receive a report that gives you a full overview of the moisture condition of your motorhome/caravan.
Keeps all historical measurements
The moisture reports will be of great value when selling or trading in your motorhome/caravan, and provide increased security for both seller and buyer. You always have access to historical data from the time you had Avara Moist installed. This data can be transferred to the next owner.

The modem communicates with Avara's cloud solution. Alarm messages and notifications are sent to wherever the owner of the system chooses. The modem also contains a GPS unit for tracking/locating the motorhome/caravan.
The device has a power saving mode that ensures that the battery does not discharge when the motorhome/caravan is not in use. You can also connect your own battery backup in case you remove the main battery during storage.

The humidity sensors measure relative humidity (RH%) and temperature once a day inside the structure where they are installed. They send this data to My Page at www.avara.no, which you can access when you subscribe.
12 sensors are included in the basic package, and more can be ordered if required. The location is determined by your dealer, who has experience of where your motorhome/caravan is most exposed to moisture and where water/moisture collects. Moisture sensors are installed by a trained dealer. The starting point for installing the sensors is the places where a manual moisture measurement is normally carried out.
The sensors have an internal battery with a life expectancy of over 15 years.
